Located directly next door to Oilcan Harry’s, Rain on 4th is Austin’s upscale gay lounge sporting a brilliantly lit dance floor that is always on fire.

4. One of the Coconut Complex bars, head up to the rooftop for views over Fourth Street’s rainbow-painted crossing and dance to cool beats from local DJs who spin late into the night. Red River St hosts karaoke is on Thursdays, and you’ll hear everything from pop to rock, with plenty of drag queens getting in on the action.
Look out for Saturday underwear nights, where the dress code needs no explanation. Open daily from 2pm to 2am.
8. Say yes to piña coladas, and dance like you are Ricky Martin in Puerto Rico. Tip: don’t miss Time Out’s Future Seeker, Arinna Heys, who regularly takes to the mainstage.
