About The Festival
This year, Austin Pride kicks off with its lively festival at 11 a.m., inviting guests to bring family and friends for a full day of Pride festivities, live music, local performances, and the vibrant summer vibes that make this celebration so special.
Typically towards the end of January, this event has 500 to 650 people. to 1 p.m. at Tiger Lilly, Pride-themed merch and drinks included in the cost of admission. It is a huge dance party and fundraiser for the Octopus Club which donates all the money from this event to the Paul Kirby Fund. The party will kick off with two-stepping before a drag show starts at 11 p.m.
Their purposes is to promote and stage an annual rodeo in Texas and to encourage the participation of its members in western-related events and to engage in charitable activities. Keep in mind that outside food and drinks aren’t permitted, and if you plan to enjoy a cocktail or beer, don’t forget your valid ID. Parking is extremely limited at the festival, especially with the massive crowds Austin Pride attracts each year.
The free festival features music, local vendors and themed merch. After all you are in Texas.

PRIDE LOUDER THAN EVER: AUSTIN PRIDE 2025 FESTIVAL + PARADE
Like a little homecoming for Austin gays that have lived here for a while, it is always a fun event to meet new people and catch up with old friends.
12. You’ll see people come out for this event that you don’t normally see out. Hill Country Ride for Aids: The Hill Country Ride for AIDS is an annual cycling event that rolls through beautiful Central Texas in April.
With Texas heat in full swing, make sure to drink plenty of water and eat beforehand so you’ll have the energy to enjoy the festivities. You can attend a queer comic workshop, do arts and crafts, and listen to book readings with ASL interpretation.
Neon Rainbows’ PRIDE & the Gay Ole Opry Drag Show, June 21
Neon Rainbows, an organization that puts on queer country events around Austin, will hold a Pride celebration at Cheer Up Charlies from 9 p.m.
This year, we are proud to recognize not just one, but three incredible Grand Marshals, each of whom... I’m sure there are a few things out there, but why not wrap up the end of the year with a big gay chorus!
