JoJo is currently dating non-binary Australian influencer Kath Ebbs, who she labelled her "girlfriend" in January this year.

The Karma singer has previously talked publicly about her sexuality, engaging in a deep and meaningful conversation with celebrity therapist Paul C Brunson on his podcast, We Need To Talk.

When asked about her LGBTQ+ journey, she explained it was "one I'm still on for sure".

Delving into her past, she revealed how she met her first-ever girlfriend and knew that she was "gay" before she did.

JoJo explained: "I remember having a best friend, and I was 16, and we met on a cruise ship.

I asked her, 'So when did you know you were gay?'

"And she was 15 at the time. F--- the L, I’m going to the Q! That’s what I love about sexuality."

Drag artist Danny, who also identifies as queer, supported and validated JoJo in the moment, adding: "You're a Q, honey!

Last night (Apr 22), on the show's livestream, JoJo was having a conversation with Danny Beard when she excitedly shared: "I feel, like, so queer, do you know what I mean?"

"I think that’s the thing, I’ve always told myself I’m a lesbian, and I think being here I’ve realised, ‘Oh, I’m not a lesbian, I’m queer,' and I think that’s really cool."

JoJo then shouted: "I’m switching letters!

“I think queer is an umbrella of, ‘Look, I'm just me.’ And I think the most beautiful thing about the LGBTQIA community is love is love. “Therefore, I've never second guessed my happiness, I've never second guessed what I'm feeling. I have a boyfriend.' And I was like, 'Dude, no way.'

"She showed me a picture of her boyfriend, and she was the first girl that I ever met and I was like, 'lesbian'.

But to think that I'm in that pool and have that chance is a beautiful, beautiful thought.”

“It makes me feel so happy that that could happen and that I could help somebody,” she continued. “This was something that, for some reason, felt like a piece of my heart belonged to it.”

JoJo Siwais happy to know herself better.

Though the “Karma” singer used to self-identify as a lesbian since coming out in 2021, she discovered through her new romance with Big Brother UK castmate Chris Hughesthat she now aligns with a different letter of the LGBTQIA+ alphabet.

“I think the most beautiful term now is queer,” JoJo exclusively told E!

And for any critics out there, JoJo—whose relationship with Australian influencer Kath Ebbsended at the Big Brother UK afterparty in April—feels the same as she did when she came out at 17: She doesn’t have to explain herself.

Earlier in the season, Siwa also mused about gender, saying: "Met a lot of males — love them, definitely not them. JoJo later shared that she identifies as lesbian and has spoken about her sexuality several times.

Over the past few weeks, however, JoJo has shared that being in the Big Brother house has prompted her to re-examine how she feels about her own gender identity.

"It’s something that I’m not ready, necessarily, to be open about or upfront about, but it has to do with gender and how do I feel," she shared.

"Essentially, you have female, you have male. Queer is an umbrella term which is used by people whose sexual orientation is not exclusively heterosexual, and for those who want to reject specific labels of sexual orientation and/or gender identity.

According to GLAAD, the term is commonly used by those who feel that the terms lesbian, gay, and bisexual are "perceived to be too limiting and/or fraught with cultural connotations they feel do not apply to them".

Never met any girl like that, but I knew she was.

Now, she's opened up on the official livestream about how she now feels like she's "not a lesbian".

JoJo Siwa explained that her Celebrity Big Brother experience has made her question her preferred LGBTQ+ label.

Celebrity Big Brother's JoJo Siwa has revealed that she not longer identifies as a lesbian.

The Dance Moms star, 21, opened up about her chosen LGBTQ+ label in a candid conversation with drag queen Danny Beard, 32, saying she had experienced a revelation about her sexuality while in the house.

Having previously explained that she only 'liked girls', the US singer, who is continuing to cause controversy with her super-close friendship with Chris Hughes, 32, explained that her feelings had changed in recent weeks.

Confiding in her non-binary friend, she talked about her recent journey of self-discovery as the two chatted in the bedroom, which was caught on Tuesday night's CBB livestream.

She continued: "I've never - I think I've always told myself, I'm a lesbian.

Siwa's revelation follows an exit from fellow castmate Mickey Rourke, who made inappropriate comments regarding her sexuality and used a slur.

"If I stay longer than four days, you won't be gay anymore," Rourke, 72, said during an episode that aired earlier this month.

"I can guarantee I'll still be gay and I'll still be in a very happy relationship," Siwa shot back.

The 72-year-old actor and former pro-boxer has since initiated legal action against the show, according to People and Buzzfeed, disputing his pay and alleging the series was "publicly embarrassing him."
