Tim McGraw and Faith Hill's daughter Gracie is setting the record straight after some media outlets reported that she came out as queer in a social media post this week.
People, USA Today, US Weekly and more outlets reported the news after Gracie shared a since-expired Instagram Story where she celebrated the kick-off of Pride Month and wrote, "I love being queer."
To many fans, it was new information that Gracie is part of the LGBTQ+ community.
But in a new Instagram Stories slide late on Tuesday (June 3), Gracie clarifies that she isn't just now coming out — she's been out as queer and bisexual for a while now, she explains.
She also admonished the "tabloids" who reported that she "came out," saying they were using her story as "clickbait."

She Dips Into Her Mom’s Wardrobe
Gracie revealed via an Instagram carousel in 2023 that she wore some of Hill’s vintage garments during a New York movie premiere.
“Last night in clothes my mom let me have, clutching my movie ticket to ground me from my own inner monologue … wishing I was wearing smaller underwear,” Gracie captioned the post that showed her at the screening of On Our Way.

Gracie McGraw is proud to be who she is.
The eldest daughter of country music superstars Tim McGraw and Faith Hill spoke out in an Instagram story post Tuesday, refuting recent headlines that claimed she was coming out after re-sharing posts in support of Pride Month.
"Hello all!!
"I have and will always be very vocal about my support of LGBTQIA+ rights and the community, but thank you so much to these tabloids for shedding light that it's pride month!!!"
Pride Month has been celebrated every June since at least 1970 and spotlights the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer/questioning, intersex, and asexual communities and their ongoing fight for equal rights.
"So many people out there don't have the support, love, or understanding from their families when it comes to their sexuality or gender identity, but just know that there is a beautiful community out there that loves you and cares about and for you!!" Gracie McGraw wrote in her message Tuesday.
